HTC Billiards Club Announces
Weekly 8-Ball Billiards League and Weekly Straight Pool Billiards League
The HTC Billiards Club is pleased to announce, we are starting a new session for the Winter of the following:
When: The leagues will play every week scheduled by the players. Starting the week of January 26th.
What: 8-Ball using HTC 8-Ball rules and Straight Pool using HTC Straight Pool rules
Format: Basics, a schedule will show who your opponent is for that week. You contact that person and schedule your match. If you cannot play that particular week, call your opponent and reschedule. You can play your matches earlier or later than the published schedule. The only rule is to have all your matches completed and in by the end of the season. As always, it is important to be responsive and responsible for arranging your matches.
Cost: $5 per player, per league. All monies collected will be paid out at season end
(minus expenses). There is a lock box and envelopes in the Billiards Room to deposit your envelope with the $5. Be sure and put your name and “Straight Pool“ or “Weekly 8-Ball” on the envelope.
(minus expenses). There is a lock box and envelopes in the Billiards Room to deposit your envelope with the $5. Be sure and put your name and “Straight Pool“ or “Weekly 8-Ball” on the envelope.
Weeks: Dependent on the number of divisions established. 9 or 10 people in a division will play 9 weeks. 11 or 12 people in a division will play 11 weeks. Which means you will play each person in your division once.
Division schedules will be sent out prior to January 24th (check your email) and will also be posted in the Billiards Room.
How to Sign Up
1. Signups are due by January 22. To sign up, you must do 2 things.
a. First, send an email to htcbilliardsclub@gmail.com.
b. Second, put your money in the lock box, see above under “Cost”.
In the email, you must put “HTC Straight Pool League Signup” or “HTC Weekly 8-Ball Signup” in the subject line or you will not guarantee that you are signed up.
2. If you are a new player, be sure and include your email address, phone number and estimated skill level. (1-5 where 5 being a highly skilled player). You will be placed in a division with others of similar skill levels. Handicaps will be automatically calculated by league standings (win/loss for 8-ball, total score for straight pool) for consecutive seasons.
Matches
Straight Pool
1. Each Match consist of a single game to 40 points.
2. The winner is responsible for posting the score; division sheets on the bulletin board. You will post 40 for the winner and the ball count of the loser, for example, 40 – 32. Each person that gets a 40 will get 1 point. However, total ball counts and differential will be used as a tiebreaker.
3. Lag for break or flip a coin to start, winner has a choice.
8-Ball
1. Each Match consists of three games; each win is worth one point
2. The winner is responsible for posting the score; division sheets on the bulletin board.

The creation of a community fellowship in HTC is first and foremost to honor God. Secondly the service will bring the living Word of God to a simple service time for my neighbors in HTC and help to create relationships and encouragement with our neighbors that enables us to help identify their needs. We will focus on both spiritual and physical needs of our neighbors by connecting their needs to willing neighbors who would assist in filling those needs.
Our community is place of great opportunity to show the goodness of God by helping our neighbors in their times of need.

Just Say Their Name

We are the parents/grandparents of children who have left this world in an unnatural order – before us. We meet monthly to share our stories, our memories, and to say our beloveds’ names without hesitation.
Too often, we hear that others are reluctant to speak of our children, fearing we will be reminded of the sadness. Nothing could be further from the truth. We will speak their names for as long as we live and know that they are never forgotten.

If these words resonate with you, please join us and share the journey nobody should be on. Any resident of HTC who has lost a child, niece/nephew or grandchild is welcome. We share a lifetime journey that nobody wants to be on.

Check us out on Facebook at HTC RV Club
Our Facebook group site will give you information on what the Club members are doing. Generally we meet a few times a year for planning purposes and try to have a couple of group camping trips each year. It’s a great place to meet nice people who share a love of camping in our beautiful state and beyond. We are a group of around 40 households, with various levels of RV experience, owning different types of rigs and vehicles for our recreational enjoyment.
To Join: Please contact us on FaceBook or at htcrvclub@gmail.com. We do have a $20 annual dues payable to join and again annually each camping season.
Through our experiences we are building resource information on both websites regarding great camping destinations, campgrounds, help with technical and problem questions, storage solutions, RV insurance, best vehicle service providers, all used and recommended by our members.
To join please contact us online or by email. The only requirements are that you must live in Heritage Todd Creek, own an RV, and be fun loving.

Spanish Club
Spanish Club encourages practicing conversational (South American) Spanish - at varying levels of proficiency - in a fun, supportive, and non-judgemental atmosphere.
Currently, we meet on Mondays, 11:15 am - 12:15 pm in the Conference room.
We have been following a telecourse called "Destinos". After each 30-minute episode, we try to converse in Spanish - to the best of our abilities - about that scenario, which often spins off on tangents and different aspects. Verbal participation is encouraged as we respect each other's strengths and weaknesses.
We welcome other intermediate learners to join us!

Wine and Dine Group
CASUAL MONTHLY GET-TOGETHER
The Wine and Dine Group meets the 2nd Saturday of every month. This is a casual get-together with 10-12 people at residents' homes. Everyone brings a HEARTY appetizer and a bottle of wine to share. If you are not a wine drinker, no problem, just bring your beverage of choice. This is not meant to be a wine group - the emphasis is on getting to meet "new" people, not on the wine. Members of this group need to host a minimum of 2 times a year.

WINTER 2026 HTC WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
HEAVEN: WHEN FAITH BECOMES SIGHT
by JENNIFER ROTHSCHILD
Heaven. Who goes there? Where is it? What will we do there? Questions like these arise when we consider an eternal future beyond this physical life. How can we know the truth about what comes next?
In this 7-session video-based study, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses. As you walk through the study, you'll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits. Don't just wonder about Heaven—embrace it with a faith that turns anticipation into excitement and peace.
o The study is 7 weeks long, encompassing weekly class sessions using a study book with daily lessons and a weekly video teaching that will be viewed in class.
o Thursdays, February 5—March 19, 2026
o OR Fridays, February 6—March 20, 2026
o 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM
o HTC Clubhouse
