  • League play starts the week of January 23rd and is 8-10 weeks long depending on the number of sign-ups.
  • To sign up send an email to htcbilliardsclub@gmail.com. Include your name, email and phone number.

LEAGUE GUIDELINES:

The league is open to all residents, both men and women. Players will be divided in into Divisions of similar skill level. Your skill level is secondary to having fun, so don't let that keep you from signing up. The game is 8-Ball using modified APA rules. Rules are posted in the Billiards Room.

Schedules will be sent along with directions of how to pay your participation fee. The schedule will show who your opponent is for that week. You contact that person and schedule your match. If you cannot play that particular week, call your opponent and reschedule. You can play your matches early or later. The only rule is to have all your matches in by the end of the season. Matches consist of three games; each win is worth one point. Winner is responsible for posting the score. Schedules and score sheets will be posted in the Billiards Room along with the league rules. If you want to know more feel free to contact one of the committee members.

This is a lot of fun and a chance to meet some great people!

Photography Club

Topic – iPhone Photo Academy – Module 2 – Additional iPhone Camera Features by Emil Pakarklis.

Emil is a self-taught iPhone photographer, photography teacher and the founder of iPhone Photography School. Despite having no formal training or arts background, his passion for taking photos allowed him to quickly improve as a photographer and turn this website into the world’s leading iPhone photography publication. Emil is the author of best-selling iPhone Photo Academy and iPhone Editing Academy online courses, and he spends much of his time running the business aspects of IPS and looking for ways to serve the audience better.

Are you struggling to take good photos with your iPhone camera, or any other smartphone or even a DSLR camera? It’s easier than you think! You just need to know how to use the iPhone camera settings. Module 2 covers: 1. secret iPhone camera features for perfect focus, 2. 1st iPhone photography assignment (optional), 3. setting the correct exposure for your photos, 4. how to preserve your memories with Live Photos, 5. how to capture stunning long exposure photos, 6.how to capture great action shots using Burst Mode, and 7. how to take outstanding panoramic photos. Emil’s procedure also applies to android smartphones and the basic DSLR camera. He explains camera technology and photo terms so that even the most basic photographer will understand them and not feel overwhelmed. So, bring your iPhone, smartphone, and/or DSLR camera to the meeting and follow along with Emil.

RV Club

Check us out on FaceBook at HTC RV Club

Our website or FaceBook group site will give you information on what the Club members are doing. Generally we meet a few times a year for planning purposes and try to have a couple of group camping trips each year.  It’s a great place to meet nice people who share a love of camping in our beautiful state and beyond. We are a group of around 40 households, with various levels of RV experience, owning different types of rigs and vehicles for our recreational enjoyment.
Through our experiences we are building resource information on  both websites regarding great camping destinations, campgrounds, help with technical and problem questions, storage solutions,  RV insurance, best vehicle service providers, all used and recommended by our members.
To join please contact us online or by email.  The only requirements are that you must live in Heritage Todd Creek, own an RV, and be fun loving.

Stronger Together is a group that focuses on overall health. Whether you want to lose weight, gain weight (yes, some do), maintain your current weight or just feel better overall, this group is for you. We cover topics that help us to understand what might be getting in the way of reaching our life goals.

We look at areas that cover all aspects of health: mental, physical, social and spiritual. There is not a special program for weight management. Instead, each member chooses whatever program/plan that they feel works best. You will not weigh in at the meeting. You might not be interested at all in the weight management journey, but instead, want to focus on your personal life goals. Come join us to see what this group is all about!

If so, then join us on the second Saturday of every month for "Wine & Dine." (This group was formerly called EZ Dine.) Any resident may sign up to be either a host or a guest for that particular month. Dinner groups typically consist of 8-10 residents who gather at the home of one of the volunteer hosts for that month. It is hoped that everyone who attends on a regular basis will volunteer to host at least once a year!

The host provides the entree and guests collectively bring an appetizer, salad, side dish, or dessert. For a Happy Hour event, participants again socialize in the home of the volunteer host but bring a hearty appetizer to share. We encourage participants to each bring a bottle of their favorite wine to share with others. If you are not a wine drinker, no problem, just bring your beverage of choice. This is meant to be a casual get-together with the emphasis on meeting and socializing with other HTC residents in a small-group, relaxed setting. There is no long-term commitment. You can give it a try, attend every month, or only months of your choosing. Watch the monthly newsletter and e-blasts for our announcements so you don't miss each month's sign-up deadline. If you'd like to get on our email list, just contact us at DBAntiques@comcast.net.

We look forward to meeting and dining with you soon!

All women of HTC are welcome to join
us as we study the Bible in fellowship.
WINTER 2023
GOD OF COVENANT - Genesis 12-50 by Jen Wilkin
February 9th to April 13th
Thursday Morning: 9:30 am to 11:30 am
Larkspur Room - Clubhouse
It is not necessary to have done the Fall Genesis study
to participate in the Winter study.
The study is 10 weeks long and includes a weekly video and class sessions using a book (available on Amazon) and daily lessons. Jen Wilkin will walk us through the stories of the fathers of our faith—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. We will witness image bearers who sin and wrestle to maintain trust in God. We will see Jesus through the stories of these people and discover how God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
