Water may well become the most disputed natural resource of the 21st century. Population growth, climate change, urbanization, and other factors have put increasing pressure on finite resources. Competing water interests have affected Colorado's history for over 100 years. The legal right to divert and use water in Colorado has been debated, legislated, and litigated since before the time of statehood in 1876. Join Active Minds as we seek to understand our water history, the current challenges, and what the future holds for our use of this precious resource.

BuzzBox Mobile Barbershop​ is a new way to get your "grooming on". They bring a mobile shop and are set up for basic cuts. While they don't wash or style, they are ready to help fix a bad quarantine haircut or trim your hair back to its pre-COVID glory. There will be one stylist on site with only one client in the mobile shop at a time to adhere to current guidelines. Book online and be notified 15 minutes before your haircut. It's easy, convenient, and sets you up for success. Do you have mobility issues? Contact Janell (jahenderson@ccmcnet.com) and let her know you are interested but cannot get into the mobile unit. We are working on setting up some times where they will come into the Clubhouse for those who have access issues.

Yard of the month is back!

This contest runs in May, June, July, August, and September! Please submit pictures and the address of the house you would like to nominate. These entries will then be put to a vote in our weekly e-blast! The house with the most votes gets a gift card.
Submissions go to Heather Shay via email at hshay@ccmcnet.com or Mallory Shields at mshields@ccmcnet.com no later than the 15th of each month in which a contest is held.

 

B-I-N-G-O! Free to play and there are several rounds, each with at least one winner! Gift cards are awarded to winners on the spot.

I am excited to be back with some fall wreaths for you.  Each finished wreath is approximately 24 inches in diameter. There are 10 different coordinating ribbons for each wreath.  Please note I have limited supplies for each sign and will remove the design when that one has sold out. This go-round you have three options:

 

1.     Attend an in-person class to make the wreaths on September 29th at 6pm at the HTC clubhouse.

2.     Make the wreath on your own at home following my YouTube videos.

3.     Purchase a completed wreath.

 

If you would like to learn how to make these I will do all the cutting for you and will walk you through the process either in-person or via the vidoes.

 

The Wreath Kits are $45.

Or you can purchase the completed wreath for $58.

I normally sell these wreaths for $60-$70.

 

Please note, I have a limited supply of these kits and they will be on a first come first serve basis.  Also, the ribbon patterns may vary with the kits but they will all include coordinating ribbons.  I will be accepting orders through September 27th or as supplies last.
