Summer Concert Series—Tripwire
Friday, September 4th  |  5:00pm-7:00pm  |  Free to attend  |  HOA Side of Parking Lot
Back for night two, join HTC Lifestyle as we finish off our summer season with some outdoor live music concerts! Rounding out the second night is Tripwire who “prides themselves on a variety of music. Our songs range from country, blues, original songs, pop, dance music, romantic slow tunes, and kick butt rock and roll. Please remember that our current guidelines for events require social distancing and face masks to be worn.

Community Garage Sale

Come find the steals and deals in the HTC community! You know the saying, one man's junk is another man's treasure and there is lots of treasure to be found at our community garage sale! Maps will be drawn up with participating houses. Following the yard sale, we will have roll-off dumpsters delivered to the Clubhouse on Monday, September 14th for those who have items too big for normal trash. Items not permitted are the following: appliances, large electronics (TVs), and hazardous materials such as paint, batteries, chemicals, flammables, etc.

In this presentation, Attorney Jeff Althaus will discuss the importance of Wills, Medical Powers of Attorney, Financial Powers of Attorney, and Living Wills. Come learn a little about the basics of estate planning, what is important, and what isn't! There will be a special guest, Bryce Babcock, will be speaking on Life Insurance.

Virtual Music Bingo - Country

Join us as we partner with Vegas Pub Quiz for Music Bingo!

 

Here’s how it works: those wanting to participate must RSVP to the Front Desk as spots are limited, cut off for RSVP’s is the Tuesday before at 5:00pm. When you RSVP, we will need the following information: Your name, phone number, email address (if you do not want to pick them up in person) and how many people in your home are going to play (each participant will get one card.) Cards will need to be picked up at the Front Desk now that the Clubhouse has re-opened. We will call participants to let them know when they are ready for pick-up. You can also elect to have them emailed and print them at home. At 6:00pm, we will begin the Bingo via Zoom!

 

A list of winners will be given to Heather to distribute the prizes. We will be contacting winners when prizes are ready for pick-up (within two weeks of event).

Virtual Recycling Presentation with Rosie Briggs of Eco-cycle

Are you throwing things away that might be recyclable? Join Eco-cycle’s Rosie Briggs as she brings a virtual presentation to HTC. Eco-cycle is one of the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit recyclers. Rosie will go over the “why” of recycling and Zero Waste, and why we care about it as a climate solution. She will also discuss the most problematic contaminants in the recycling, and answer all your questions about what you CAN put in your recycling bin! At the end of the presentation, she will have a Q and A to help clarify and answer any additional questions.

 

We are going to enjoy Mango Salsa's island style vibes on the back patio! We invite you to bring lawn chairs for extra seating and there will be a bar down by the fire pit!

Annual Doggie Dive

Does your dog take to the water like a fish? Want to see if Fido likes to float? Come join us as we let the dogs take over the pool area before we drain it for the season. We have three swim times available to pick from. To conform with COVID, we are limited to 20 residents/10 dogs. Guests are still not permitted at this time.

DIY Make Your Own Citronella Candle with Heather

Summer is almost over but that doesn’t mean that mosquitos are done for the season! We are bringing back 2 classes on how to make citronella candles that deter those annoying bugs! Heather will cover the basics of candle making, discuss the supplies needed, and provide information on essential oils and how to use them to help. She will help you to pick out the right scents and oils for you to enjoy while keeping those pesky bugs away. The cost is $10 per person (which includes supplies to make one candle during the class) and spots are limited.
