Twenty years after the 9/11 attacks, the U.S. has announced its intention to withdraw combat troops from Afghanistan. In the immediate aftermath of the attacks, the U.S. led a coalition invasion of Afghanistan seeking to oust the ruling Taliban and find Al Qaeda leaders, including Osama bin Laden. Join Active Minds for a look at the story of Afghanistan, both before and since 9/11. We will also take a look forward at what the future holds for this war-torn country.
This event is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and will have a raffle prize!

Yard of the Month Nominations Due
Sunday, August 15th, 2021, All Day Event
Yard of the month is back!
This contest runs in May, June, July, August, and September! Please submit pictures and the address of the house you would like to nominate. These entries will then be put to a vote in our weekly e-blast! The house with the most votes gets a gift card.
Submissions go to Heather Shay via email at hshay@ccmcnet.com or Mallory Shields at mshields@ccmcnet.com no later than the 15th of each month in which a contest is held.
Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) Meeting

They will be held via Zoom until the Clubhouse is fully re-open. Then they will be in the Craft Room from 2 pm-4 pm.

Feeling lucky? Join us for a few friendly hands of Texas Hold ‘Em and try your luck against friends and neighbors! Players of all skill levels are welcome.  A maximum of 32 participants can register. Buy-in paid at the tournament.

B-I-N-G-O! Free to play and there are several rounds, each with at least one winner! Gift cards are awarded to winners on the spot. No RSVP is necessary this Thursday because we're in the Ballroom! See you there!
