Summer has arrived and with that brings bugs who are dying to get a bite, leaving you not able to enjoy your outdoor space as much as you would like. HTC Lifestyle is here to help! We are offering 2 classes on how to make citronella candles that deter those annoying bugs! Heather will cover the basics of candle making, discuss the supplies needed and provide information on essential oils and how to use them to help. She will help you to pick out the right scents and oils for you to enjoy while keeping those pesky bugs away. The cost is $10 per person (which includes supplies to make one candle during the class) and spots are limited. Please RSVP today with the front desk.
 
There is another class on Thursday, July 9th from 6-8:00pm.

Every year, we look forward to our annual Independence Day Celebration. Given the current restrictions and guidelines, we have made the difficult decision to scale back the event this year. This years Celebration will take place on July 4th and feature the following:
  • Car, Motorcycle and Golf Cart Parade will line up at the Clubhouse and go from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. There is no RSVP required, just show up in your patriotic gear!
  • Caricatures - From 10:30 am to 1:30 pm we will have 3 caricaturists ready to draw a fun and goofy representation of you! You can even bring up your pets to join in! This will be done on a first come, first served basis. People will be required to social distance and wear masks while waiting in line that can then be removed during their drawing.
  • Food Trucks: California Wrap Runner and Happy Cones will be near the Lennar Model Homes from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Garden Flag Decorating Contest Begins

Garden Flag Decorating Contest
Our next community contest has arrived in the form of a garden flag decorating contest! We have a limited supply of garden flags for those wanting to participate. Flags are $5 each (limit one per household), made of polyester, measure 12 inches by 18 inches, and are available at the Front Desk. They also have a dark liner in the middle so that you can decorate both sides!

Flags may be decorated using any medium or materials you would like, the sky is the limit so let your creativity lead the way! Flags are available for pick up now through August 14th (or until supplies run out).
 
Starting August 15th, we are asking that those who have decorated a flag display them on their lamppost or in their front yard for neighbors to see. These will need to be displayed through the end of August for voting purposes. We will be providing a list of participants addresses for residents to drive around and then vote on their favorite! There will be a prize for the winner so break out the glue gun and get creative!
 
Drive In Movie Night at Todd Creek Golf Club!

Here’s how it works: those wanting to participate must RSVP to the Front Desk as spots are limited, cut off for RSVP’s is Tuesday at 5:00pm. When you RSVP, we will need the following information: Your name, phone number and how many people in your home are going to play (each participant will get one card.) Cards will need to be picked up at the Front Desk now that the Clubhouse has re-opened. We will call participants to let them know when they are ready for pick-up.
 
 
At 6:00pm, we will begin the Bingo via Zoom, link coming soon!
A list of winners will be given to Heather to distribute the prizes.
