It’s time to “step” it up and get active for summer! Join us for our 300 mile challenge today! Sign up at any point from now through the end of July. Each participant will be given a log to track their miles when they sign up and everyone who participates will get a prize.

Reminder: There is OPEN BILLIARDS every Saturday at 10:00 AM, Tuesday and Thursday at 2 PM.
There are three parts to the HTC Billiards Club:
•          Open Billiards for 2 hours
  Saturday at 10:00am
  Tuesday & Thursday at 2:00pm
•          Open Tournaments (approximately every 4-5 weeks)
•          Leagues (three times a year – Winter, Spring, Summer)

Sunday, June 2nd  |  Departs Clubhouse at 11:30am  |  $25 per ticket  |  RSVP at the Front Desk Today!
Come and reserve your tickets at the front desk, payment due when added to the list. There are 54 spots on the bus! Tickets will be given out on the bus the day of the trip. If you cannot make the game, it is your responsibility to sell the tickets to another party and inform the front desk so we can update your reservation. We will be providing peanuts and cracker jacks for those joining us on the trip!

set up times to play in April and again in October before and after the official season.

Those with current GHIN handicaps, your yearly fees may be expiring soon so check in

Restorative Exercise

For men and women at 9:00am every Monday.
We use a tape, so there is never a fee.
This morning workout includes moves that your back physical therapist uses, balance, stretching, cross-brain training and breathing seamlessly included in an hour-long (or 45-minute short version) DVD that you should try. It is drop-in attendance to give your week a start and it is FREE! All are welcome so if you aren’t a regular you might give it a try. Questions? Healthy Kitchen Challenge with Debra Negrin

Debra Negrin from S.E.L.F. Integrative Health is going to be hosting a Healthy Kitchen Challenge in the month of June! This is a 4 week long challenge with weekly meeting to help guide you to having a healthier kitchen and make more informed decisions when it comes to food!  June 3rd will kick off with an introduction and scheduling of 30-minute in-home consultations to review the “hot spots” in your kitchen and offer suggestions for healthy swaps. June 10th, the meeting will be about meal planning to help dial in your nutrition. June 17th will involve a trip to the supermarket to learn about how marketing can sway you away from your shopping list. Hello all!  As you are aware, we as a community are making a switch to a new, more user friendly website!  In preparation for the new look, feel and functionality we are getting ahead of the launch and offering two different training sessions, a general resident training and Club Leader training (Club dates are TBD and will occur once all resident training has taken place).  Each session will have limited seating so please sign-up at the front desk and claim your spot!  Please Note: Club Leaders MUST take the Resident Training prior to the Club Leader Training.
 
In order to help with the transition, we also need each resident/home to complete the website registration form (they were mailed with their HOPA survey) and return it to the Front Desk ASAP.  Without that information, once our new website goes live in May, you will no longer receive our email communications or have access to our website.  If you cannot locate your form, please see a Front Desk Associate who would be more than happy to provide one to you.

Ultra Beginner Line Dance Class with John

We have decided that our regular meeting will be the first Thursday of every month from 9:00am-10:00am in the Conference Room. We will have Wi-Fi access, plus a screen to project onto if anyone has anything they learned/discovered and would like to share. We also have the third Thursday of the month available from 9:00am-10:00am in the Conference Room for anyone who would like to get together between our regularly scheduled meetings.

This morning workout includes moves that your back physical therapist uses, balance, stretching, cross-brain training and breathing seamlessly included in an hour-long (or 45-minute short version) DVD that you should try. HTC Garden Club

The HTC Garden Club is a group of residents who meet once a month to do various garden-related activities.
Each winter, we have been planning our monthly events for the coming year.

Swedish Weaving

Join a lively group for a classic dominoes game called Mexican Train, also known as Trains. The object of the game is for a player to play all the dominoes from his or her hand onto one or more chains, or “trains,” emanating from a central hub or “station.” Everyone is welcome.
