Monthly Calendar

In May, we are hosting a show us your pet challenge! This can be a normal photo of your pet looking exceptionally cute or it can be like 90% of my photos of my dogs where they just look plain goofy. Send us a picture for it to be featured in a photo album! Submissions should be sent to Heather (hshay@ccmcnet.com) or Mallory (mshields@ccmcnet.com).

HTC Lifestyle is challenging residents to re-create a famous work of art, movie cover or book cover! Basically, the sky is the limit here! The more creative, the better! Below are some links of what other people have done for these challenges:

Active Minds – Spices

From the bland diets of Europeans in the early 16th century to the myriad of culinary flavors available today, spices have had a huge impact in the world.  Join Active Minds as we trace the rise of spices from colonialism and the spice trade to the hundreds of varieties that are commonly stocked in nearby supermarkets.

 

We suggest that people start connecting to the meeting around 15 minutes before the start of the program so that anybody who needs assistance can get it before the program starts. Blanchard Family Wines Virtual Tasting

This virtual wine tasting class is for members of the Heritage Todd Creek. Please do not join if you are not a member of that association or have not been invited by a member of that association. If you are though, welcome to a fun, interactive, and educational wine journey with Blanchard Family Wines! Since we can’t have you out to the winery quite yet, we’re going to bring the wine experience to you. We will ship or deliver 4 of our amazing Sonoma County wines from our Denver winery location, directly to your house. Then, on May 8th at 8pm MST, we will all join on a Zoom chat where one of our owners will guide you though a wine tasting experience, just like if you were at the winery. Baseball is almost here! We have senior discount tickets available for purchase the Front Desk. These tickets are in the Outfield Box and are a $40 value! Come and reserve your tickets at the front desk, payment due when added to the list. There are 40 tickets available but be sure to add your name to the waitlist in case we are able to get more or someone is looking to sell! Tickets will arrive via mail to the HTC Clubhouse a week or two prior to the game. Once the tickets arrive, we will call each resident who reserved tickets to come pick them up at the Clubhouse.

All tickets are final sale. If you are unable to attend, you are responsible for the re-sale of your ticket(s) and notifying the Front Desk of the name and phone number of the person purchasing your ticket(s). All trips are scheduled to go rain or shine so please plan and dress accordingly! In the event that a game is cancelled, the Rockies will put out a “new game” date and any further ticket changes must be made through them.

He goes over the milling process of flour, how other ingredients function in the dough, and how to make a variety types of dough including pizza and classic soft bread. The Heritage Todd Creek Master Association Board will be meeting via Zoom on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. to vote on the following items. The Special Meeting and process is in line with the Bylaws and the directives from legal counsel. Instead of soliciting comments from residents during the meeting, the Board is soliciting input from residents on these two matters before taking official action on Friday.  

 

• Additional cost for Parking Lot Project of $11,432.77 from Co-Tenancy Reserves: 
The original estimate for parking lot repairs from Martin Marietta was $64,924.43 in October of 2019. The work was postponed by HTC Co-Tenancy until this spring. Over the winter several of the cracks became wider and several smaller cracks appeared, which were unforeseeable for HTC or Martin Marietta. Martin Marietta did extend the contract on their end by donating labor and over 50 tons of material to try to rectify the situation. However, there are still significant cracks that need repair as they will only get worse if left alone. The CCMC manager and main contractor from Martin Marietta have negotiated a fair price for both parties to complete the project to satisfaction. Martin Marietta has provided great service to the HTC community for many years. The company has acted in good faith on this project and the additional amount to complete the project is recommended by CCMC management. Approval is needed from the Master Association Board and from Todd Creek Golf.

 

• Replacement of Patio Furniture according to the Co-Tenancy Reserve Study 
The Reserve Study for the Co-Tenancy common areas, which are shared by Todd Creek Golf and the Master Association, states that the patio furniture was to be replaced in 2019. The furniture is over 10 years old and new tables and umbrellas are needed. CCMC management recommends moving forward with this purchase from the Co-Tenancy Reserve Account. Todd Creek Golf is in favor of this expense from Co-Tenancy Reserves. The Master Association Board will vote on this expense on Friday.  

 

The Heritage Todd Creek Master Board is seeking resident input on these 2 agenda items for the Special Meeting of the Master Association Board being held on 5/22/2020. We are looking for residents to share their favorite margarita recipes and then join us on Friday, May 29th to share a sip during our Front Porch Happy Hour with Lifestyle! HTC has many clubs, groups and volunteer opportunities to offer the community. Join us for this fair to help draw interest and let people know more about your group or organization!
