Walking Challenge to get out and get active! We are encouraging residents to get outside at least once a day and walk a mile. To break things up, try taking a different route than you would normally take. Bonus: getting outside and being in the sunshine naturally elevates moods. You can use an app to track or write it down. See how many miles in the month of April you can walk. Submit your log to Heather or Mallory by May 5th to receive acknowledgement in our June Newsletter.

HTC Lifestyle is hosting a Rock Decorating Contest (from April 16th to April 30th): HTC is ready to “rock” this stay at home order! We are challenging residents to tap into their creative reserves and decorate rocks for all to see! Be sure to have them outside where they are visible to those passing by as this contest will have prizes! (See examples above) If you want to submit your favorite rocks, please email the address of the rock you prefer and a picture if possible to Heather (hshay@ccmcnet.com) or Mallory (mshields@ccmcnet.com) by April 30th. On May 1st, there will be an email going out with a 24 hour voting period to vote for your favorite!

Show off your fun spring decorations by decorating your porch and/or front door! Prizes will be given to best porch and best door! Nancy tours nationally headlining clubs, festivals, conferences and events.  She has also toured internationally on several USO tours to Europe, Asia, Iceland and the Pacific. Nancy draws from a lifetime of experience. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse and shares hilarious healthcare anecdotes that will leave you in stitches… and really wanting to STAY WELL.
Nancy Norton lives in Colorado and balances comedy, speaking, and workshop engagements with writing, producing shows, podcasts and being a single mom to her active and creative teenage son.  Nancy adopted her son as an infant in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2005 – a magical journey of a mother and child meant to be together that would not have had a happy ending without the help of humor.
