Billiards Tournament Results
Sunday, March 1st, 2026, All Day Event at Billiards Room
HTC Billiards Club Pool Hall 9 Ball tournament was great fun. The “no safeties” rule made for some interesting play, and focused players on making balls. In the end, first place went to Harlan Krusmark, second place went to Tim Mahar, and third went to Walter Vanni. As usual we alternate 8 ball with various other games so our next tournament will be fast 8 ball.

WINTER 2026 HTC WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

HEAVEN: WHEN FAITH BECOMES SIGHT
by JENNIFER ROTHSCHILD

Heaven. Who goes there? Where is it? What will we do there? Questions like these arise when we consider an eternal future beyond this physical life. How can we know the truth about what comes next?
In this 7-session video-based study, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses. As you walk through the study, you'll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits. Don't just wonder about Heaven—embrace it with a faith that turns anticipation into excitement and peace.

  • The study is 7 weeks long, encompassing weekly class sessions using a study book with daily lessons and a weekly video teaching that will be viewed in class.

Active Minds

Today's Topic: Baltic States

The Baltic Republics — Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia — are small nations on the Baltic Sea. Once ruled by Moscow, since the fall of the Soviet Union, they have “leaned west” joining both NATO and the EU. The Russian invasion of Ukraine, however, reintroduces threat from the east. Join Active Minds as we explore these three fascinating and inspiring countries.

Free to attend; please RSVP below to reserve your spot!

About Active Minds: Active Minds started in 2002 as a series of poetry classes in a church basement in Denver. Before long, it grew to include other courses focusing on contemporary global issues, historical themes, and other matters of importance. The original audience was primarily senior citizens, but over time Active Minds has grown to serve adults of all ages through programming at book stores, libraries, and corporations. Today Active Minds provides programming to over 200 organizations and has over 30 highly qualified instructors on staff. John Henderson and Zane Robertson formed Active Minds out of a deeply felt belief that lifelong learning is central to a life well lived. We are inspired by members of our own families who embodied this spirit and dedicate this work to them.

Face Yoga is a natural way of looking and feeling younger and healthier. With an added sense of relaxation and wellbeing. It is a combination of face exercises, face massage, face acupressure and face relaxation. Face Yoga helps to naturally soften face and neck lines. It relaxes the mind, body and face. To help people feel the best versions of themselves.   Many of these techniques and practices originate from India, Japan and China. They have been passed down for thousands of years, generation to generation. It has been proven time and time again.   I also teach via Zoom.

CBD and Natural Health with Leanna Organics - Educational Seminar
Sunday, March 15th, 2026, 11:15am to 12:45pm at Larkspur
CBD and Natural Health with Leanna Organics

In the "CBD and Natural Health" presentation, Leanna Organics highlights CBD as a natural, non-intoxicating, and non-addictive choice that fosters holistic well-being for both humans and pets, focusing on the entire being—mind and body—rather than simply concealing symptoms.

Unlike potentially addictive and risky pharmaceuticals like opioids, benzodiazepines, and sleeping pills—which are shown as not sustainable long-term solutions—CBD offers a gentler, non-habit-forming alternative for easing pain, anxiety, and sleep disturbances without causing a high.

In addition to helping humans and pets with pain, anxiety, and inflammation, CBD treats inflammation which is the root cause of so many health conditions, it empowers individuals to pursue healing in a balanced, plant-based way.

We are Leanna Organics CBD. We make **non-intoxicating** products like salves, creams, bath bombs, oil and gummies all infused with hemp-derived CBD. More and more people are looking for natural healing remedies that are non-habit forming and safer than traditional pharmaceuticals.

Face Yoga by Penni

Face Yoga is a natural way of looking and feeling younger and healthier. With an added sense of relaxation and wellbeing. It is a combination of face exercises, face massage, face acupressure and face relaxation. Face Yoga helps to naturally soften face and neck lines. It relaxes the mind, body and face. To help people feel the best versions of themselves.   Many of these techniques and practices originate from India, Japan and China. They have been passed down for thousands of years, generation to generation. It has been proven time and time again.   I also teach via Zoom.

Cost is $10 per class
All classes are 11:30 am - 12:15 pm
