To help people feel the best versions of themselves.   Many of these techniques and practices originate from India, Japan and China. They have been passed down for thousands of years, generation to generation. It has been proven time and time again.   I also teach via Zoom.

WINTER 2026 HTC WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

HEAVEN: WHEN FAITH BECOMES SIGHT
by JENNIFER ROTHSCHILD

Heaven. Who goes there? Where is it? What will we do there? Questions like these arise when we consider an eternal future beyond this physical life. How can we know the truth about what comes next?
In this 7-session video-based study, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses. As you walk through the study, you'll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits. Don't just wonder about Heaven—embrace it with a faith that turns anticipation into excitement and peace.

  • The study is 7 weeks long, encompassing weekly class sessions using a study book with daily lessons and a weekly video teaching that will be viewed in class.
  • Thursdays, February 5—March 19, 2026
  • OR Fridays, February 6—March 20, 2026
  • 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM
  • HTC Clubhouse

About Active Minds: Active Minds started in 2002 as a series of poetry classes in a church basement in Denver. Before long, it grew to include other courses focusing on contemporary global issues, historical themes, and other matters of importance. The original audience was primarily senior citizens, but over time Active Minds has grown to serve adults of all ages through programming at book stores, libraries, and corporations. Today Active Minds provides programming to over 200 organizations and has over 30 highly qualified instructors on staff. John Henderson and Zane Robertson formed Active Minds out of a deeply felt belief that lifelong learning is central to a life well lived. We are inspired by members of our own families who embodied this spirit and dedicate this work to them.

Love Me Tender: Valentine’s Sock Hop Prom

Get ready to rock around the clock at our 1950s-inspired Valentine’s Sock Hop Prom! Dust off your saddle shoes and poodle skirts, slick back your hair, and get your nerve up to ask your favorite guy or gal to Prom. Step back in time for an evening of classic romance, retro style, and rock ’n’ roll fun. Dance the night away to live music from an Elvis tribute artist and soak in the nostalgic prom-night atmosphere. Whether you arrive with a sweetheart or friends, this unforgettable celebration promises great music, dancing, and plenty of Valentine cheer. Come make memories and fall in love with the magic of the ’50s—Love Me Tender style!

Known for his authentic vocals, signature moves, and charismatic stage presence, Nevan brings Elvis’s legendary hits to life—from soulful ballads to high-energy rock classics. Prepare to sing along, dance, and be transported back to the golden age of rock ’n’ roll!

What to wear?  Have fun with it! Go full-on retro prom with delightfully over-the-top dresses (think tulle, pastel bridesmaid vibes for the ladies and powder-blue tuxedos with cummerbunds for the gents), or channel classic sock-hop style—slicked-back hair and leather jackets for the guys, and poodle skirts with saddle shoes for the gals. Face Yoga is a natural way of looking and feeling younger and healthier. With an added sense of relaxation and wellbeing. It is a combination of face exercises, face massage, face acupressure and face relaxation. Face Yoga helps to naturally soften face and neck lines. It relaxes the mind, body and face. To help people feel the best versions of themselves.   Many of these techniques and practices originate from India, Japan and China. They have been passed down for thousands of years, generation to generation. It has been proven time and time again.   I also teach via Zoom.

Book for Thursday February 12, 2026 discussion led by Cynthia Andrews: “The World Played Chess”
Bestselling author Robert Dugoni returns with an emotionally arresting follow-up to The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell.
In 1979, Vincent Bianco has just graduated high school. His only desire: collect a little beer money and enjoy his final summer before college. So he lands a job as a laborer on a construction crew. Working alongside two Vietnam vets, one suffering from PTSD, Vincent gets the education of a lifetime. Now forty years later, with his own son leaving for college, the lessons of that summer—Vincent’s last taste of innocence and first taste of real life—dramatically unfold in a novel about breaking away, shaping a life, and seeking one’s own destiny.

Hope to see you February 12!

About the Instructor: Class is offered by Nicole with Rogue Kale From brewing to gardening to cooking, I have been a professional microbe facilitator for a decade. My career in fermentation has been driven by the mystique of yeast and bacteria and the symbiotic relationship humans have cultivated with them throughout history. As an educator at heart, my mission is to save the world with fermentation, by empowering others to cultivate their own relationship with these microbes through increased understanding and experimentation. I truly believe embracing fermentation can lead to harmony of mind, body and soul. Let's get nerdy together!

It is a combination of face exercises, face massage, face acupressure and face relaxation. Face Yoga helps to naturally soften face and neck lines. It relaxes the mind, body and face. To help people feel the best versions of themselves.   Many of these techniques and practices originate from India, Japan and China. They have been passed down for thousands of years, generation to generation. It has been proven time and time again.   I also teach via Zoom.

Face Yoga by Penni

Face Yoga is a natural way of looking and feeling younger and healthier. With an added sense of relaxation and wellbeing. It is a combination of face exercises, face massage, face acupressure and face relaxation. Face Yoga helps to naturally soften face and neck lines. It relaxes the mind, body and face. To help people feel the best versions of themselves.   Many of these techniques and practices originate from India, Japan and China. They have been passed down for thousands of years, generation to generation. It has been proven time and time again.   I also teach via Zoom.

Cost is $10 per class
All classes are 11:30 am - 12:15 pm
