Indoor Winter Triathlon Challenge 2021
January 4th– February 7th  |  $5 to participate  |  RSVP at the Front Desk Today!
Let’s start 2021 off right and get fit with a new Indoor Triathlon Challenge. The packets are ready now so get ready to rock your fitness with the new year! Sheets should be turned in weekly for accurate progress tracking. This year, the progress tracking chart will be emailed to participants so please be sure to give your preferred email when RSVP’ing. These reports will be updated and emailed out on Mondays. All participants will get a participation prize.  

In 2013, China announced a massive $1 trillion international transportation and trade infrastructure construction program known as the Belt & Road Initiative. This program, which is well underway, aims to finance, build, and supply material for roads, bridges, tunnels, railway lines, sea ports, and airports for over 100 countries in the world. China is billing this as a modern version of the ancient Silk Road. Join Active Minds as we explore the history of the Silk Road as it informs an understanding of this contemporary effort.

 

Virtual Music Bingo—General
Wednesday, January 20th  |  6:00pm  |  RSVP to the Front Desk by calling 720-230-4700 by the Tuesday before the event  |  Join via Zoom!
Join us as we partner with Vegas Pub Quiz for General Music Bingo! How it works: those wanting to participate must RSVP to the Front Desk, cut off for RSVPs is the Tuesday before at 5:00pm. When you RSVP, we will need the following information: Your name, phone number, email address (if you do not want to pick cards up in person) and how many people in your home are going to play (each participant will get one card.) Cards will need to be picked up at the Front Desk and we will call participants to let them know when they are ready for pick-up. You can also elect to have them emailed and print them at home. For those having their cards emailed, they will be sent on the day of the event by 4:00pm. At 6:00pm, we will begin the Bingo via Zoom! A list of winners will be given to Heather to distribute the prizes and we will contact winners when prizes are ready for pick-up (within 2 weeks of the event).

Felt Flower New Years Resolution Sign
Registration deadline is Thursday, January 14th  |  $35 per kit  |  Zoom Class: Thursday, January 21st at 6:00pm
What better way to remember and be accountable for your new year’s resolution than to put it on a sign for your wall? For $35, you will receive instruction via Zoom to make your own 12” hoop with your choice of saying, backing, and felt colors. You will need an iron, scissors, and a glue gun to complete this project. All other items will be provided prior to the class. Glue guns available to borrow or purchase if interested. Deadline to sign up is Thursday, January 14th. Zoom class is approximately 60-90 minutes, though your project could take longer to complete depending on the number of flowers you wish to make. They will be held via Zoom until the Clubhouse is fully re-open. Then they will be in the Craft Room from 1:00pm to 5:00pm

Join us as we partner with Vegas Pub Quiz for Pixar Trivia!  Here’s how it works: Virtual Pub Quiz is just like Jeopardy!  The Host will ask questions out loud and your team will try to figure out the correct answer!  Prizes for 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 2nd to last place! Before the start of each round, the Host will put a link in the chat area of the screen, that link will lead you to the answer sheet for the round.  Each round will have a new answer sheet link. Winners will be notified via your Lifestyle Director how to claim your prize after the event. Full event rules can be found via our weekly E-blast or our website calendar.
