Join us for a virtual CASA presentation on Monday, August 10th from 6:00-7:15 PM via ZOOM! Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization that trains and supports community volunteers, CASAs, to represent the best interests of child victims of abuse and neglect that are currently in the judicial system. CASA Volunteers ensure that the child's physical, mental, educational, and emotional needs are being met, and advocate for the child in court, all the while supporting them in the journey to find a safe and permanent home. In Adams and Broomfield Counties, there are approximately 1,100 children waiting for someone like YOU to be their voice and speak up for them in court. At this virtual presentation, you will hear from members of the CASA Team about the important work our Advocates are doing in the community, the application and training process, and how we are moving forward with advocacy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
