World Space Week is an annual holiday observed from October 4 to 10 throughout the world. World Space Week is officially defined as "an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition". It also marks the days of launching of Sputnik - 10/04/1957 and the Outer Space Treaty- 10/10/1967

 

Cate Summer, former Space Consortium Research Associate at the University of Alabama, will discuss shuttle flight experiments that she assisted with while working at the Kennedy Center in the 90's.
