Each September, communities across the country take time to raise awareness about the importance of being prepared for emergencies. Whether it’s putting together an emergency kit, making a family communication plan, or simply knowing who to call in an urgent situation, a little preparation today can make a big difference in the event of an emergency.

 

To support this effort, the Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) is hosting a Community Safety Meeting on September 10. Local police and fire representatives will be on site to share practical safety tips, answer questions, and provide helpful resources. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how to keep your family and our community safe, and to connect with the first responders who serve our area.
