Proper management is critical to staying healthy for individuals diagnosed with diabetes. Our Diabetes Self-Empowerment classes provide eight hours of support for developing skills to keep blood sugars in the target range and promote long-term health.

Each class has a new topic, participants can attend any of them. These are the topics for each week:
September 3: Explore what diabetes is
September 10: How to better monitor and understand blood glucose results September 17: The relationship between food and diabetes September 24: Discuss the effects of diabetes over time You may also attend virtually!
