Spring Break Swim Reservations
Spring Break means lots of visits from Grandkids! We are excited to welcome your little swimmers during Kid Swim hours:
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
10:00 am - 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- Reservations are required for Spring Break from March 13 through April 5.
- All swimmers - including those without kids - must make a reservation during Kid Swim hours to ensure we do not exceed capacity.
- Call the Front Desk at 720-230-4700 to make a reservation (Note: Reservations are no longer available online)

Easy Spanish for Beginners and Advanced Beginners

Are you ready to take your Spanish skills to the next level? Converse more with the Spanish-speaking people here in Colorado? Handle yourself better while visiting a Spanish-speaking country?
Designed for the beginner and advanced beginner, this course provides you with an opportunity to read, write, and speak Spanish together with others learning right alongside you. Working in pairs, you will be able to maximize the opportunity to practice Spanish in a supportive environment from the very first day in class.
- Class meets twice per week for 6 weeks for a total of 12 classes from February 12 - March 21
- Mondays from 10:00 am - 11:00 am and Thursdays from 11:45 am - 12:45 pm
- Minimum of 10 students must enroll for the course to hold. Enrollment is capped at 20 students.
- Cost is $120 per student

The textbook for the class can be purchased on Amazon.

We will use the textbook Easy Spanish Step-by-Step. This book presents grammar and conversation in a logical order so that you can develop your language skills naturally. Vocabulary and grammar have been selected based on their usefulness and frequency. You will complete written and oral exercises to check your understanding. Readings are included in each chapter of the book.

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Kathy Lamos, HTC resident, has worked in higher education for many years, teaching classes in English as a Second Language and Spanish and working in administrative positions. She has also taught adult Spanish classes at Colorado Free University and the OLLI Academy for Lifelong Learning. She enjoys language learning and teaching, travel, and getting the opportunity to spend time in different countries with different cultures and perspectives on the world.

Strength and Performance for Golfers with Jarrod Holt

Attention All Golfers! Are you looking to step up your game, prevent injuries, and continue playing the game you love? Look no further! This specialized workout consists of multiple different factors. Starting with a full body golf-specific warm-up that consists of targeting major muscle groups. Then moving on to golf-specific exercises to enhance each phase of your stroke. Lastly, we will finish with mobility work to keep your body moving well, and playing injury free. Now is a great time to get started as we transition into fall and winter. This course is offered during the golf season to keep yourself sharp, as well as during the winter to strengthen your skills before the next season.

Movie Night - When Colorado Went Major League!

Join us for a movie night in the Ballroom! "When Colorado Went Major League" tells the story of how a baseball loving community united to make its MLB dream come true with the 1993 arrival of the Colorado Rockies! Kathi Williams, HTC Resident and former Colorado House of Representatives Congresswoman, played a key role in developing and passing legislation to bring Major League Baseball to Colorado!
The movie touches on everything from the first Rockies game in Denver on April 5, 1993, to the history of baseball in Denver and how Coors Field was built, and more. Throughout it all, there are amazing clips of unforgettable moments on the field and interviews with the players who made them like Eric Young, Dante Bichette, and Vinny Castilla.
- Doors open at 5:30 pm
- Cost is $18 per person and includes a Hot Dog Bar with all the trimmings and Ballpark treats!
- Wristband required for admission.
- Short presentation from Kathi before the show.
- Colorado Rockies staff will attend with Rockies swag and door prizes!

Presentation by Alan McAvoy, Technical Training Manager for Stellantis, formally Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
Alan was based here in Denver and oversaw training OE Dealer Technicians in Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis and Kansas City Training Centers. Alan was in charge of training the technicians of OE Dealerships. Alan's 41 years' experience and credentials are not matched by anyone in the area. Come learn about all the new technology in today's automotive world.
