Functional Fitness with Jarrod Holt

This class consists of functional strength which includes exercises to mimic activities of daily life, balance and coordination exercises to keep you agile, and mobility work to help your body move properly. With the goal of enhancing your body and mind.

Medical Foot Spa
Monday, February 10th, 2025, 9am to 1pm at Craft Room
 
Join Specialty Foot Care on the second Monday of EVEN months for a foot clinic!
The medical pedicure includes nail clipping, shaping and assessment, a warm and relaxing foot bath as well as a foot massage. Services are provided by a foot care Nurse.   Please note this is a medical pedicure - they do not paint nails.

  • Minimum of 5 residents to host the on-site clinic

Intermediate Spanish Class

Are you ready to take your Spanish skills to the next level? Converse more with the Spanish-speaking people here in our community? Handle yourself better while visiting a Spanish-speaking country?
 
Designed for those with a basic Spanish vocabulary and knowledge of the present tense, this course provides you with a chance to practice and improve your Spanish together with others.
 
We will use the textbook Easy Spanish Step-by-Step. This class is a follow-on to previous classes, so we will begin with Chapter 7 in the textbook. The text presents grammar and conversation in a logical order so that you can develop your language skills naturally. Vocabulary and grammar have been selected based on their usefulness and frequency. Readings are included in each chapter of the book.

6-week Spanish class from January 6 through February 13.
Mondays: 10:00 am - 11:00 am in Blue Sage EXCEPT January 6 and February 3 will be in the Craft Room
Thursdays: 11:45 am - 12:45 pm in Blue Sage EXCEPT February 6 will be in Larkspur.
Cost is $120 per student

She enjoys learning and teaching Spanish, travel, and getting the chance to learn more about countries and people with diverse cultures and perspectives on the world.
