HTC Day at the National Western Stock Show!
Join us for HTC at the National Western Stock Show, where fun, excitement, and tradition come together. This special event is packed with activities, entertainment, and access to one of the most iconic celebrations of Western heritage!
Take in all the fun, including:
Pro Rodeo Admission: Witness the thrill of professional rodeo as top athletes compete in heart-pounding events like bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and more! Experience the energy and excitement of this classic Western sport.
Full Stock Show Access: Explore the expansive grounds and enjoy livestock exhibits, shopping in the Trade Show, and interactive activities for all ages.
Take part in educational exhibits, meet ranchers and farmers, and discover the traditions that make the Stock Show an unforgettable experience.
- Bus departs HTC promptly at 9:00 am, please arrive no later than 8:45 am
- Rodeo starts at 1:30 pm
- The bus leaves the National Western complex at 4:00 pm and should arrive back to HTC before 5:00 pm
- Tickets are $45 per person and include round-trip bus transportation, grounds admission and pro rodeo!

Intermediate Spanish Class

INSTRUCTOR BIO Kathy Lamos, now retired, has worked in higher education for many years, teaching classes in English as a Second Language and Spanish and working in administrative positions. She has also taught adult Spanish classes at Colorado Free University and the Academy for Lifelong Learning. She enjoys learning and teaching Spanish, travel, and getting the chance to learn more about countries and people with diverse cultures and perspectives on the world.
Are you ready to take your Spanish skills to the next level? Converse more with the Spanish-speaking people here in our community? Handle yourself better while visiting a Spanish-speaking country?
Designed for those with a basic Spanish vocabulary and knowledge of the present tense, this course provides you with a chance to practice and improve your Spanish together with others.
We will use the textbook Easy Spanish Step-by-Step. This class is a follow-on to previous classes, so we will begin with Chapter 7 in the textbook. The text presents grammar and conversation in a logical order so that you can develop your language skills naturally. Vocabulary and grammar have been selected based on their usefulness and frequency. Readings are included in each chapter of the book.
